Jack Daniels Sauce


  • cup water
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • ¼ cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tsp garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 ⅓ cups dark brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 3 tablespoons grated white onion
  • 4 tablespoons Jack Daniels Whiskey
  • 1 tablespoon crushed pineapple
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper


  • Combine all ingredients in a large heavy pot. Bring to a rolling boil then reduce heat to medium-low. Cook until the sauce is thick and reduced to half the original volume. The original recipe says it takes and hour. mine actually took less time and got a bit too thick. Before I served it, I added a little more pineapple juice to thin it a bit.
