Ingredients

  • 4-5 ripe Roma tomatoes diced
  • ½ small red onion finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro chopped
  • 2 teaspoons lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic finely minced
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 jalapeno, seeds removed and finely chopped (if you like a little heat) Optional

Instructions

  • Dice the Roma tomatoes, onion, jalapeno, garlic, and cilantro.
  • Mix the diced vegetables in a medium bowl.
  • Squeeze the lime juice and pour it over the vegetables. Stir with a spoon.
  • Taste and add salt to your liking.
  • Chill the pico de gallo for at least an hour, if possible.
  • Serve with chips!
