- 4-5 ripe Roma tomatoes diced
- ½ small red onion finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro chopped
- 2 teaspoons lime juice
- 1 clove garlic finely minced
- Salt to taste
- 1 jalapeno, seeds removed and finely chopped (if you like a little heat) Optional
Dice the Roma tomatoes, onion, jalapeno, garlic, and cilantro.
Mix the diced vegetables in a medium bowl.
Squeeze the lime juice and pour it over the vegetables. Stir with a spoon.
Taste and add salt to your liking.
Chill the pico de gallo for at least an hour, if possible.
Serve with chips!
