Bread & Pastry
Bread is sometimes referred to as "the staff of life"and has been around since the dawn of agriculture. The process has changed over time, but bread is still, for the most part, flour and water. Obviously, whole grain breads have more nutritional value than processed white breads, and certainly more than most of the breads and pastries I share here. Everything in moderation, right?
I took an online bread making class a few years ago and became obsessed with baguettes, boules, and babkas. My house smelled fantastic. I still love making bread, pastries, and muffins. I am working on the perfect morning muffin to go with my coffee. I'll share it when, and if it happens.
