What is a jalapeño popper?
Fresh jalapeno peppers or a jalapeno half are filled with different kinds of cheese, sometimes spices such as chili powder or garlic powder, and often bacon. To make jalapeños milder, remove the inner membranes and seeds. It is the white membrane and seeds that contain much of the heat.
