INGREDIENT NOTES
First, let's talk about the ingredients in this recipe.
The sweet Hawaiian rolls serve as the perfect foundation for these sliders, adding a touch of sweetness that complements the savory ham and cheese. Myself included, everyone in my family loves the soft, buttery texture of these rolls, making them a staple in our pantry.
To add a delightful kick of heat and flavor, we use hot honey (or regular honey if you prefer milder sweetness) combined with poppy seeds, Dijon mustard or yellow mustard, and a pinch of kosher salt. This melted butter sauce is what elevates these sliders to a whole new level of deliciousness. The combination of flavors and textures in this dish truly sets it apart from other ham and cheese sliders.
